FAFSA-Free Application for Federal
Student Aid
The FAFSA is now
available on-line at www.fafsa.ed.gov. If you need
a paper form you can download them online at www.FederalStudentAid.ed.gov.
We STRONGLY encourage you to submit the FAFSA online, though.
It is much quicker to complete, and it will be processed much
faster than the paper version.
If you are completing the FAFSA online, stop by the Counseling Office to pick up a worksheet to complete ahead of time. You will also need to go to the FAFSA web site, and register for your personal PIN number. Mr. Mason will be available to assist students with registering for a PIN number, and to help with college applications, etc.
Be sure to get your taxes done EARLY this year!!! Many colleges have priority deadlines as early as March 1 for filing the FAFSA!!!
PLEASE NOTE…The financial aid process is FREE….DO NOT pay for the FAFSA. There are fraudulent web sites for the FAFSA. You must go to the government web site…. www.fafsa.ed.gov If you have any questions, concerns, or think you have been asked to pay for something, please contact Mr. Mason and I will assist you.
