HS Boys please meet Mr. Porter this morning in the Conference Room after the reading of the daily bulletin.

 

This Friday @  8:00 a.m. we will have Coronation Practice in the HS Gym. We need the candidates,  Jenna Kriegh, Reese Therman and Braden McKain at that time also. We ask that you please check in to your first hour class before going to the gym. Thank You.

 

Any HS basketball boys that have any information on Cade Allen’s Jersey #2 and warm ups that were left at Healy the other night, please see Mr. O’Connor ASAP.

 

Army National Guard will be here on Monday, Feb. 6 @ 11:40 a.m. MT

 

Today is “K-State/KU Day”.

 

South of Virgie Popp’s there were 2 dogs found. One black/white Border Collie and a Black Lab. If you know of anyone that these might belong too,  contact Connie Hudson.  785-821-1564.

 

The Forensics team traveled to Dighton yesterday.  Cassidy Gentry, Rachel Dipert, Morganne Baehler, Dalton Walker and Zach McNall had great results in the preliminary rounds while the IDA teams of Eli Kuhlman/Gage Henderson, placed 5th in the finals and Hallie Kuhlman/Zane Sloan placed 4th in the finals.  Lindy Smith placed third in the finals in prose. Congratulations to all!

 

High school Regional Scholars’ Bowl Competition in Tribune at 3:00 today.  Dismissal of team is set for 1:00 with departure scheduled at 1:30. Those going will be Miranda M;  Catherine J; Cody P; Clay Schemm; and Jayne Klinge.

 

There will be a send off today @ 1:15 in the HS Gym before the Regional Scholars’ Bowl Team departs @ 1:30. Come and wish them Good Luck.

 

Homecoming Dance outside dates must be signed up by 3:30 on Friday.  The dance will start 30 minutes after the game is over.  The freshmen are in charge of bringing desserts; sophomores bring chips; juniors bring drinks.  If you do bring your item admission will be $3 a single, $5 a couple.  If you do not, admission will be $5 a single, $8 a couple.  This is a Semiformal dance which means no jeans will be allowed.  No strapless dresses may be worn to the dance.  You can wear spaghetti straps, but must be in good taste.  Just a reminder again that ineligible students may not attend the Homecoming Dance.

 

Junior High basketball @ Dighton today starting at 3:30.  Teams will need to be dismissed at 12:00 to depart at 12:15.
