Wendy’s Heisman Scholarship

The Wendy’s Heisman Scholarship is based on students that are judged based on their academic achievements, community service involvement, and athletic accomplishments. This award had been sent out to Doyle Pletcher son of Darren and Missi Pletcher. He had won a $15 food pass for his journey throughout college. The grand prize of this would have been a $10,000 for one male and female. We appreciate Doyle’s hard work for sending out his application for this scholarship. He had gained valuable experience from filling out his application.

ROTC Scholarship

The ROTC Scholarship was awarded to Taylor Pearce, son of Cecil and Jayne Humphrey Pearce. This award is given out to the best essay and after you had completed and gone further you will then have to go to K-State for an interview. Taylor Pearce stated “It is a good way to get a good education for free and able to serve your country.” He is a very educated student and willing to go above and beyond. This is a great scholarship for young people who are interested in the military. Taylor had to fill out his application and hope for the best and he was chosen.
