2010 WCHS Track

This year has had a decent turnout for wildcat track. There have been many injuries that have been major setbacks, but most of our Wildcats are still going strong. The boys team consists of Senior: Taylor Pearce, Juniors: Dallas Buell, Darrell Magwire, Tadd Andrews, Sophomores: Joshua Lorenzen, Braydon Summers, Zane Sloan, Dalton Davis, Jacob Dipert, Cody Pearce, and Freshman: Alex Basgall, Gage Henderson, Eli Kuhlman, Gavin Mote, and Lane Perry. The girls team consists of Seniors: Kamee Benisch, Caimen Bussen, Junior: LaKaya Steele, Sophomores: Jayne Klinge, Hallie Kuhlman, Miranda Mai, Barbara Pelletier, Hayley Pletcher, and Freshman: Ashli Dinkel, Tatum Elder, Grace Hammer.
The Wildcats have placed very well in all of their meets. At the Cheylin meet on March 26th, both teams combined placed 2nd overall. At the Cheyenne Wells met on April 3rd the girls placed 6th and the boys placed 3rd. At the Triplains meet (in Colby) on April 13th the boys placed 12th and the girls placed 4th. At the Johnson meet on April 20th, the girls and the boys gained valuable experience. At the Oakley meet on April 23rd, the girls and boys also gained valuable experience. At the Saint Francis meet on April 27th, the girls placed 10th and the boys also placed 10th. There are two more meets for the season before regionals and state. We would like to wish good luck to our Wildcats on the rest of their season!
