Soup Supper

For several years, the Wildcat Booster Club has hosted a soup supper for the Homecoming. The booster club uses the soup supper as a fundraising activity. The community donates all of the ingredients so there is no cost for the booster club. They also prepare the food for the meal.
When the meal is sold, each bowl of soup costs $6.00 for children of age 12 and older. Any children under the age of 12 were able to eat the meal for $4.00 and children under the age of 3 could eat for free. After this years soup supper, the booster club raised $1700 dollars.
The booster club will use this money to buy treats to give to students going to extracurricular activities. One of their other projects is to buy new garment bags for student activities. Another idea was a trophy case for the grade school and a trophy case for the high school academic honors. The last idea was to purchase a sun awning for outdoor events such as cross country, golf and track.
