State Powerlifting 2009

2009 State Power lifting
In 2009, Wallace County went to Quivira Heights for state power lifting. The teams that were there was Centre, Quivira Heights, Stafford, Wallace County, Argonia, Greensburg, St Paul, Moscow, Hill City, and Rock Hills.
The boys scores were:

1. Centre-129 points
2. Stafford-110 points
3. Quivira Heights- 102 points
4. Wallace County-97 points
5. Argonia-89 points
6. Greensburg- 74 points
7. St Paul- 62 points
8. Moscow- 54 points
9. Hill City- 52 points
10. Rock Hills -50 points
 

The girls teams represented were Quivira Heights, Moscow, Fairfield, Wallace County, Sylvan Unified, Otis Bison, Wakefield, Lincoln, Weskan, and Rock Hills.
Their scores are as follows:

1. Quivira Heights- 149 points
2. Moscow- 60 points
3. Fairfield- 49 points
4. Wallace County- 49 points
5. Sylvan Unified- 43 points
6. Otis Bison- 32 points
7. Wakefield- 32 points
8. Lincoln- 30 points
9. Weskan-30 points
10. Rock Hills- 26 points

At least 20 people went to the state Powerlifting contest at Quivira Heights last year and we hope to have a strong team going this year.
