Wildcats Start Season 1-1

After a few weeks of practice the Sharon
Springs Lady Wildcats finally took the floor eagerly on Friday
against the Stratton Eagles. The Wildcats started off the season by
beating the Eagles 39-27.
Senior guard Kassie Weinland said, “We
started off the season well, but there are still some things that
we need to work on, but overall I think it should be an exciting
season.”
On Saturday they played the Eads Eagles.
The success didn’t quite carry over the next night. The Wildcats
lost to Eads 41-25.
The junior varsity started their season by
remaining undefeated through two games defeating both Stratton and
Eads.
Coach Paulette Unruh said, “I was pleased
with the effort the girls put forth. We realize that we still have
a lot of work to do.
