| Biographical Information I
was born in Great Bend, Kansas. I was raised in Ellinwood,
Kansas until 6th grade then moved to Colorado. I married
Larry Balman after college and lived in Denver, Colorado for 12
years. We had 3 children., Leslie, Stephanie and
Greg. My first husband died from cancer after 12 years
of marriage. Later, I met Gene Walker , and moved to Weskan,
Kansas. He had 2 children, Marcia and Bryce. We raised all of
those children together. At this time, they are all
married except for Stephanie. After all of the kids went to
college, I attended FHSU and received a Master's of
Science degree in counseling. I have been a counselor for 20
years -- working at Weskan High School in that position for 5 years
and working at Wallace County High School for 15 years. I have
really enjoyed working with students these past 20 years.
By the way, I have thirteen grandchildren as
well! |
